My female cat has a tummy lump that won't go back in. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 12 days old | 3 lbs

I forgot to mention that beans mum Jaffacake had a lump on her tummy also but it didn't go back in when I pushed it

It could be that Beans has an umbilical hernia and that's why the lump goes back in when you push on it. Umbilical hernias typically need to be repaired surgically, which can be done when Beans is neutered. As for his mum Jaffacake, this lump could unfortunately be a mammary tumor which can happen in intact females. In cats, there's a 90% chance a mammary tumor is malignant, so it's important to have any lump examined promptly by a vet.
