Why is my cat not eating, coughing, and not jumping from the sofa?

My cat seems to have stopped eating properly, she will just eat small amounts and keeps doing that coughy thing that looks like trying to cough up a fur ball which I thought was the issue but I've also noticed she won't jump down from the sofa either. Little concerned. Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed

Polly make suffering from a respiratory infection. Coughing is a very common sign and its not unusual for a fever to also be present. Many cats with fever become very lethargic and will lay in the same position for extended amounts of time. I would recommend to take her into the vet's office to have her checked as many cats with fevers will not eat or drink the normal amounts and this leads to dehydration. Best of luck.
