will male or female cat get sick if they eat a dead kitty ? i have two cats male and female who had 4 newborn kittens and a dead one. i took the dead kitty and put it on the table to depose of it in the morning then next day i only found the head of the kitty and the rest of its body is gone don't know which cat ate it. Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | 5.4 lbs

I'm so sorry you lost a kitten! No, they likely won't get sick from it. Cats have been known to eat their young before (even though it's not common) and have been ok. It's gross, but your cats should be fine.
