At what age should my Samoyed puppy be neutered? I have heard that if you do it too early (6 months) then there is potential for growth and hip problems. Pet's info: Dog | Samoyed | Male | neutered | 4 months and 6 days old | 40 lbs

Great question! The studies about neutering too early causing problems for growth and hips are varied, and there's no consistent evidence yet about this effect. I personally recommend neutering after six months of age and before a year old.
