My pregnant dog has vaginal discharge. Is it normal before labor?

My Dog has got pregnant during her first time in heat and I have been cup rise went she is due she should be delivering any day nowshe has had a Snotty substance come out of her vagina is that normal and she has gained a lot of weight more than expected any help or advice would b great or wat to watch for

You can see some mucus discharge during pregnancy and that is normal, but if the substance resembles pus, is green in color, or has blood in it, that is not normal and Fat Cat will need to see a vet immediately. You can start taking her temperature rectally twice a day. A dog's normal temperature is between 101-102.5F, and once it drops below 100F, she should deliver her puppies within 24 hours. Should 24 hours pass after this temperature drop with no sign of puppies, then she will have to see a vet immediately.
