My dog is a 22 month old Maltese x Poodle (Maltipoo) and has just come on heat, she's been on heat 3 times before (4 including this). Can I breed her? If so, do you recommend breeding her with another Maltipoo or with a breed such as Maltese. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 9 months old

If Bella is healthy , she can be bred in the 2 weeks after stopping bleeding. I would not breed her with a dog much bigger than herself. You can have a vet do vaginal cytology to determine when the time is right for introducing her to a male.
