Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 5 lbs
I had sent a question about my cat meow moo last night and you gave me good information. I"m going to take him to the vet tomorrow but tonight I put him down to drink some water and he fell over on his side and drew his front arms toward his body. He was tense but the rest of his body relaxed. I think I saw a seizure. Does it sound like it to you and if it does, what could cause a seizure in a cat. He seemed so much better this morning, pretty normal until tonight. Thank you !

I'm glad the experts gave you good information about Meow Moo! Oh no, from your description, it does sound like he could have had a seizure. That is concerning, and seizures in cats could be due to trauma to the brain, blood glucose too high or too low, kidney disorders, or idiopathic (no known cause). I would have him seen by a vet first thing in the morning. If an incidence like this happens again, I would try to film it for the vet to see. Definitely take him into the vet in the morning so he can be examined, diagnosed, and treated.
