My dog has been itching his neck really hard and it has led to an open sore that has puss around it. How should I treat this without having to take him to the vet? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 52 lbs

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to treat Rocky Road's sore without seeing a vet. It's infected if there is pus and that requires antibiotics to treat which are available by prescription only from the vet. I would take him into the vet first thing tomorrow.
