Is raspberry yogurt safe for cats if they lick the lid?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Will anything bad happen if my cat licked about half my raspberry yogurt lid? I googled and it says raspberrys arnt toxic but your only supposed to give a small amount so .... anything bad I should look for since she licked half of the yogurt off the aluminum foil lid to my yogurt cup? She was being sneaky and started licking it when I turned to my Laptop for a moment. How much is too much when it comes to raspberrys for cats?

Raspberries aren't toxic to cats, and the yogurt itself won't have a lot of raspberries in it. The dairy may cause her some GI upset, but if she only licked a little of it, that's not likely. She should be just fine :-)
