Can a vaccinated dog catch distemper from an infected puppy?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old

Brunonis fully vaccinated with distemper,corona and anti rabies injection so yesterday I took him to vet as he was having stomach upset and vomiting so there at vet clinic there was a dog puppy who has distemper and he was shivering drooling not moving and my bruno just smelled him I don't know he touch him or not ur how I am scared as I read it it is contagious disease so can my bruno also have distemper disease ? Even after getting fully vaccinated what should i do now ? Please help me

As long as Bruno is fully vaccinated, he should not be in any danger of getting distemper - even if he may have had some brief contact with an infected puppy. The vaccine for this disease is extremely effective, so I wouldn't worry :)

    Yes, if they had the vaccine (first and second dose) it is unlikely that they contracted any distemper so they are going to be ok. You can of course have the puppy you want checked by a veterinarian before picking her/him up.
