If your mouse drinks a lot of water, it will pee a lot. This could be caused by heat, but also by diseases like diabetes and kidney disease. Your veterinarian can do a blood test to check for these diseases and treat them if they are not too advanced.

    Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Atlas is adorable! That is definitely a very large amount of water for a mouse to drink! Diabetes can definitely be the cause and is heritable in certain breeds of mice. Atlas may also have kidney disease or a bladder infection, causing him to drink and urinate more frequently. A veterinarian who specializes in pocket pets or exotics can perform an exam, bloodwork if necessary, and prescribe necessary medications for Atlas. I hope this helps and that all is well!
