Vet wants to dock my schnauzer's broken tail. What should I do?

I took my 7 month old miniature schnauzer to the vet because It seemed he had a broken tail. The vet came in felt his tail and recommended to dock it? I don't feel is necessary, and I'm not sure it's the best choice. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | unneutered | 11 lbs

You can take Turbo to another vet for a second opinion. If you don't feel that docking his tail is best, you can have another vet see him and get their opinion on it. Should the second vet recommend docking his tail, then I would follow the vet's recommendation. I hope this helps!
