Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Why did my cat become agressive and feral when we got new kittens we used to only have him and was very freindly but we had a mice problem in our barn so we got 12 kittens (outdoor kittens) but they slept in the barn tiger became really distant and eventually became feral all the other cats are very freindly he came home and saw the kittens in his bed eating from his bowl and he did a frowny face and walked away now he doesn't let me touch him he's gotten more agressive than ever why?

Your cat is upset. He used to be the only cat and the only one being loved, and now he has to share you with 12!!! other cats. You can try to catch him and keep him in the house and treat him like a king, not giving the other cats access to his space and bed and food. You will need to give him lots of lovings, and he may come around. So take Tiger in and see how that works.
