Poor girl. Yes it can be normal for pets to still have blood in their urine unfortunately for up to 48 to 72 hours after taking antibiotics. However you should see improvement with the blood every day and your pet should still be active alert and relatively stable otherwise.

Poor Pearl! In many cases, the signs of a urinary tract infection do start to improve significantly after 24-48 hours on antibiotics, but not in all cases. Some UTIs can have complicating factors, such as the bacteria causing the infection could be resistant to the initial antibiotic choice, or bladder stones are also present and are irritating the bladder wall. If Pearl has had no improvement in her urinary signs in another 12-24 hours, she should be rechecked by her vet. If it was not yet done, she may need to have a urine culture performed to determine if the antibiotic will be effective against the bacteria causing the infection. Pearl may also need to have abdominal x-rays to rule out the presence of bladder stones. I hope she's feeling better soon!

Zorica's UTI may not be completely cleared up, as she should still be peeing blood after seven days of antibiotics. She could also have bladder stones causing the blood. I would have her seen by a vet again today for these symptoms.

Bella's feces are perfectly normal. However the bloody urine is a serious concern. Blood in urine is usually a sign of a severe Urinary Tract Infection, possible bladder stones or, rarely at this age, a cancerous growth or polyps. Bella needs to be seen by a veterinarian for an exam, a urinalysis and possibly blood work to rule out kidney disease. She will need antibiotics and pain medicine. Please take her to a vet ASAP.

Poor Iola! Unfortunately, dogs who have bladder stones can develop them again, so this blood in her urine can be a sign of more. It can also be a sign of a UTI. It certainly isn't normal that she has blood in her urine, and given that she has a history of bladder stones, I would have her seen by a vet now. The vet can diagnose what is causing the blood urine and can discuss treatment options with you.
