My senior GSD's back legs are giving out; why is she walking sideways?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 10 years and 7 months old | 20 lbs

Hi I have a German Shepard female she is 10 years 7 months her back legs they keep giving way she also walks sideways as she cant get them to do what she wants an my vet's are not really helpful please help Yvonne

In an older GSD losing ability to control hindlims, I would be concerned about degenerative diseases of the spinal cord (degenerative myelopathy-DM), spinal cord tumors, or less likely a fungal infection such as aspergillosis. Bluebelle needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Following examination, discuss testing for DM and imaging of her spinal cord (MRI)x
