I accidentally hit my dog in her lower rib he was crying for a few seconds and limped off the bed pls help! I put pressure on his ribs afterward and they didn't hurt him at all but plz tell me is he okay. Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 year old

Oh no, poor Roscoe! Accidents happen, and likely getting hit did hurt him but if he's not showing any pain when you press on his ribs, he's likely ok. Keep an eye on him for now, and if he is limping in the morning, becomes lethargic or anorexia, if his chest area appears swollen, or the area becomes painful to the touch, I would have him seen by a vet.
