Why is my cuddly cat suddenly hiding and staying in another room?

My normally needy cat who loves people,cuddles, and laying on me, but now she is laying down in a different room always. This is not at all like her. Is she ok and what is wrong with her. Now I hardly see her,what should I do. I love her and want her to be ok. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 10 lbs

Cats can unfortunately be fickle and change up where they sleep, but this can also be a sign of an illness. Given that you say this is extremely out of character for Fluffy, I would have her seen by a vet tomorrow for a health check. The vet can diagnose if she is suffering from an illness causing her change in behavior, and can discuss treatment options with you.
