Why is my indoor cat lethargic and not eating after being outside?

Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Male | neutered | 4 lbs

My cat is strictly indoors..he got out the other night and was out 2 days..he came back and now he isnt moving around much or eating and drinking much.. there is no scratches from fighting or anything..we thought maybe it was allergies but he still usually eats/drinks

Oh no poor Blu! I'm so glad you got him home. It is possible that he was injured on his adventure, and he could be suffering from internal injures causing him to not move much, eat, or drink. I would have him seen by a vet immediately, he needs a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, and x-rays. If any injuries are found, the vet can discuss treatment options with you.

    I would recommend having his pancreas checked and an abdominal ultrasound. This is not normal so I would push for further diagnostics. He would also benefit from intravenous fluids if he is not eating or drinking. Hopefully they can find something!!
