Puppy with parvo has skin bumps. Are they from the infection or meds?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Finnish Spitz | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 3 days old | 10 lbs

Puppy has parvo, given penicillin to starve off any secondary infections. As well as pedialyte oral and through enema. Now there are bumps that look as if liquids are in them. Is the infection trying to come out through the skin ?

I'm sorry Rambo has parvo! Parvo doesn't typically manifest as skin lesions, so these bumps could be an allergic reaction to something such as the penicillin. I would have Rambo seen by a vet for these bumps so they can be diagnosed and treated.
