If I breed a pit bull with a mixed dog, will the puppies be pit bulls?

If I should make a pit bull mate with my mongrel will one of the puppies born as a pit bull??

Since the litter would receive half of its genes from the pit bull and half from your mixed breed, none of the puppies would be pit bulls. That said, the way genes are expressed can vary widely and it is possible that some of the puppies may strongly resemble pit bulls. It is equally possible that none of the puppies would resemble pit bulls. Genetics keep us on our toes and you never know exactly what will happen!
