I found my pup around two months ago...he was a stray dog..he had no chip ..and we decided to adopt him with our lovely cat nunu..... They went well together since their first meet.... From now on he loves us so much and vice versa...but i am his favorite ..he follows me every where i go....but when i am not at home he cries ....he wants me with him every second... And he is afraid to be alone ...is their something that i shall do to tell him that it will ok if he is alone ??

It's always wonderful to be the favorite, but can be stressful for both of you when Maui is showing signs of separation anxiety. Consider giving him a small treat, then leave for just a minute or two and come back. Repeat this by leaving slightly longer each time so that he has a positive reward as you leave (the treat) and begins to understand that you will always come back. Also look into calming pheromone collars (Adaptil is one example) to see if that helps. If all else fails, consider discussing anxiety medications with Maui's vet to determine if he might be a candidate.
