Why is my male cat's testicle red, hairless, and oozing pus?

Hi, I have barn cats and today I just realized that on one of the males it testicle is red, no hair, haso puss coming out when moved. What should I do? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 lbs

Poor Ninja! It sounds like he has some type of infection in this area, since it's red and has pus coming out. He will need an antibiotic to treat the infection, so I would recommend taking him to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to - he/she can examine the area to see exactly what's going on, and will also prescribe an antibiotic and possibly an anti-inflammatory or other medication to treat the problem if needed.
