Why is my 10-year-old wiener dog walking slow and not lifting head?

Hi I have a wiener dog approx 10 yrs old. She's neither lifting head head very high and walking slow. It appears to be in her front shoulders. We have left over pain medication from her last visit. Any suggestions. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 10 lbs

Oh no, poor Matilda! Unfortunately Dachshunds are very prone to spinal problems, and she could be in pain from his spine causing her symptoms. I would not give her pain medications from her last visit, as they may not be appropriate to give in this case. I would have her seen by a vet immediately for a physical exam and x-rays. The vet can diagnose what is causing her pain so she can be treated.
