I have a Havanesse adult dog whom have been vomiting a yellow smelley mucous. He had a stuffed animal toy of the same colr so I thought he may have digest some of the fabric. The day of vomiting was Thursday night & again today. Bowels have been solid. The dog food brand is BilJac that he's been on for abot 5 to 6 months. No vomiting while on this brand.

Hello. Vomiting can be caused by many causes including something stuck (especially if he ate a stuffed toy), a sore belly/gastritis, pancreatitis, or metabolic causes. If he is bright and happy otherwise, you can try boiled rice and boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breasts, in small frequent meals for a couple days. This will treat a simple gastritis. If the vomiting continues or he can't keep any food down, or he is lethargic or tired, he needs veterinary attention right away. Good luck with Cody.
