Haroldo certainly sounds sick. With a UTI, I wouldn't expect weight loss and significant changes in body temperature. I assume that he is receiving antibiotics, but should have his urine cultured if it hasn't already been done. Some bacteria are resistant to certain antibiotics, so the culture will be able to determine if the antibiotic choice is appropriate for Haroldo's infection. Other possible causes of the changes in body temperature and weight loss could be related to kidney disease, urethral obstruction, kidney infection, among others. I assume that Haroldo is still being hospitalized, but if he is not, he should go back to his vet for a recheck exam and blood and urine testing.
