My dog has an odd bleeding lump on his penis. Is it cancerous?

My pure bread American bull dog has a odd lump on his penis that keeps bleeding me and the wife are going to take him to the vets but is this cancerous?

Hello. I am sorry to hear that Odin has a lump. Bleeding masses on the skin can be anything from a wart which is of no concern, to cutaneous hemangiosarcoma. Bringing your dog to the vet to have it looked at, and possibly removed or have a biopsy done is the best thing you can do for Odin. Without looking at it, and ultimately without a biopsy, you cannot know if it is cancerous or not. Good luck with Odin.
