Dog's stomach swollen after heat shot. Is this a side effect?

hi, my dog got an injection to stop her from going into heat, a delvesteron injection?? i think, and its been like 2 weeks, and her stomach is still very swollen, i heard that weight gain is a side effect, besides that shes completely fine, but im still slightly worried, I'd appreciate a response quickly, thank you a lot. have a great day.

Hello. I am sorry to hear that Xeva isn't doing well. Unfortunately this medication does have a large number of side effects. I would discuss with your vet about the options to prevent pregnancy, including spaying Xeva. Good luck with her!
