3 year old male black lab has a pee sized lump on his gum adjacent to the inner aspect of his lower canine tooth. The color is the same as his gums. First noticed it last night. I am concerned it is cancer. Please advise.....thank you!

This is concerning and could indeed be a cancerous growth, If so , then removing it as soon as possible would be necessary. However since your dog is still young it may more likely be a wart or cyst or little abscess or other benign growth. I suggest you take Driver to your vet for an exam. It may be just a harmless condition. Better safe than sorry and that way you will not have to worry.

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Mozi to the vet, the vet will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
