My dog threw up after extra doxycycline dose. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Spitz | Male | 1 year and 2 months old | 4.9 lbs

I gave to my dog a wrong dosage of doxycycline in yesterday instead of 1/2 tablet once a day i gave another 1/2 tablet in just one day and the time of the first take is 9:30am and then the second take is 7:30pm and after a minute he vomited today march 30 i gave my dog 1/2 tablet only and a Yakult a probiotics drink a half only

The extra dose probably caused the vomiting. Doxycycline does cause vomiting as a side effect. If the vomiting resolves, then I would not be concerned. If the vomiting persists, contact your veterinarian.
