My puppy swallowed a chicken bone. Vets are closed, what should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 9 lbs

Hello my 2 month old pit bull puppy stalled a chicken bone whole. For the most part he spears to be fine. However i am concerned about him not being able to digest the bine properly. All of the vets are closed, what should do? please help

Unfortunately after a chicken bone is eating, there's nothing that can be done. It's not recommended to induce vomiting, as the bone can get stuck in the esophagus or cause trauma to it. I would monitor Apollo for sign of obstruction and damage to the intestinal tract, which include vomiting, diarrhea, bloody feces, anorexia, constipation, vomiting blood, and lethargy. Should you see any of those signs, you will need to take Apollo into a vet immediately. You can give him a slice of whole wheat bread with every meal to form a ball of ingesta around the bone and cushion it as it passes through the GI tract.
