Puppy's red, saggy armpit rash not improving with Benadryl?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 23 days old | 51 lbs

My 5 month old puppy has a rash on his left armpit. It's red, bumpy, and actually pretty saggy. I bathed him, gave him Benadryl, and let him rest, but it's not getting better. He's not licking or itching it and let's me touch it

I would have Frankie seen by a vet for this rash. If Bendaryl isn't helping it, he likely needs stronger drugs to treat it, which the vet can prescribe. I would have him seen by a vet first thing in the morning.
