Dog drank ocean water, now vomiting and constipated. Pedialyte safe?

Hi! My name is Samantha and my pups name is Mayce, she 8months old. We took her to the ocean for the first time yesterday and she drank some ocean water. She threw up once yesterday right after she swallowed the ocean water, and she was fine after that. Today, She vomited today after drinking water. Since then she has eaten and drank and hasn't puked again. But, her stool is very hard, she's kinda lazy, and she mouth is dry. So I was wondering if it is really safe to give a dog Gatorade or pedia. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 24 days old | 37 lbs

Hi Samantha! Poor Mayce, it sounds like the salt water made her ill. You can give her some pedialyte to see if that helps, but it does sounds like she may be constipated if her poop is hard. That could be from dehydration, so you can also try soaking her dry food in warm water to get more moisture into her system.
