Will my dog be okay during her first long vet boarding stay?

Im going on vacation from Friday to Sunday & she's being boarded at the vet so I won't be able to get her back until Monday. It'll be the longest we've ever been apart and her first stay there. Will she be okay or will she miss me or be so scared that something bad happens to her? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 years and 2 months old | 4 lbs

It sounds as though you are quite worried about leaving Precious. Fortunately, dogs do not have the same sense of time that we do, nor the ability to anticipate scary occurrences. She may have some degree of anxiety, but many dogs enjoy their boarding experience and exposure to other people and change of scenery. I'm sure your vet will call if they have any concerns about Precious. Try to relax and enjoy your vacation! :-)
