Is taking an 8 mo old golden retriever to either the dog park or on 1 mile hike everyday too much exercise or detrimental to his growth? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 7 months and 27 days old | 80 lbs

Not at all! This is great exercise for Linus provided that the weather is neither excessively hot (over 80 degrees F) nor cold (under 40 degrees F). Obviously limit your time outside during more extreme temperature conditions. Otherwise, keep up the hiking and enjoy the dog parks!
