Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 70 lbs
When I roll over this am, my dog has her head facing the wall in between my bed and night stand, so I call out to her and there is no response. She looks stuck and her back legs are locked for sure. She then starts a hopping/jumping motion that pushes her into the wall and looses control of her bladder. She is contracting a steady urine till bladder is empty. After a couple of minutes she seems fine but acting startled. I have no idea what happened or why!?

Since Cali was having neurologically abnormal repeated behavior, seemed unaware of your presence, and lost control of her bladder, it seems likely that she had a seizure. One of the most common causes of seizures in a 3 year old dog is epilepsy, but other possibilities include liver diseases (portosystemic shunts), toxin exposure, or brain tumors. If another episode occurs, take a video to show to her vet. There is no need to rush to a vet after a one time occurrence, as she will likely not be started on any seizure control medications. However, should Cali have another seizure within a 24 hour period, she should go to an ER vet because this would be considered a "cluster seizure".
