My 5-month-old lab is tired, not eating, drinking a lot, and gained weight.

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 4 months and 26 days old | 20 lbs

Hi my dog is lab and he suddenly seems to have a loss of appetite, drinks a lot of water and seems to have a weight gain over a few hours we left him. He seems to be very tired and lazy although he is only 5 months old. he is never like this and I'm worried for his health. He had been desexed and got a surgery to decrease his chances of hip displasia. Should I be worried about anything? Is he okay?

Hello. If Simba's stomach appears bigger than before and it is hard, you need to get him to a vet immediately as he could have a twisted stomach. Otherwise, if he is drinking more and has weight loss you should have him seen and bloodwork performed. I would have him seen by a vet as soon as possible. Good luck with Simba.
