My puppy loves chewing cardboard. Is it safe if he swallows it?

Is it ok for our 12 week old labradoodle pup to be chewing and potentially swallowing cardboard boxes? He loves them, loves chewing on anything he can get his little teeth into. We're just concerned he may be swallowing the cardboard. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 months and 25 days old | 12 lbs

Hello. I hope you are having fun with Bodhi. Lots of puppies love to chew cardboard boxes. As long as the pieces are small when he swallows them it should be ok. It can cause an obstruction if he eats a lot of cardboard, however if he is chewing and just gets a small amount that is ok.
