Why is my bulldog's back leg locked and she can't walk after sleeping?

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old

I have a 3 year old bulldog who got cramp in her right back leg two days ago after sleeping funny on it and her leg is still locked today but she is eating and drinking fine but struggling to bend it and walk on it

Hello. I am sorry to hear that Dutchess isn't feeling well. If her leg won't bend and she is keeping it straight, it could be that she has injured her leg (torn her cruciate ligament) or could have a luxating patella. I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian, as a leg muscle cramp would not continue or cause the clinical signs you are describing. Good luck with her.
