Is my hedgehog licking his penis normal? When should I see a vet?

Hi! So I have a hedgehog and his name is winston. He is seven months old. I recently touched what I thought to be his "belly button" but it was his penis. And now he keeps sucking on it or masturbating or something and it's scaring me. Is that normal for a hedgehog to do???! What do I do??? Do I just let him be? If he is licking the area all the time, it is not normal, it's more likely he is suffering from either an injury in the area or a urinary infection. i would recommend taking Winston to the vet in order to get it checked.
