Hello. I have a 9 month old red nose pit bull and he starting itching real bad where his tail is then we.took him in to the vet the vet said he had enviormental mange and he Gave him some Medicine on the neck and it went sway for a month. Its back.now but he doesn't really scratch it. Just flakes of skin are their 99% of the time. We use oatmeal shampoo and it.seems to keep it under control but now he has a big bump on the side.of his stomach. I squeezed it but nothing but blood came out.

Hello. I am sorry to hear that Blue is having troubles. If there is environmental mange, then just like fleas you will need to treat Blue every month in order to continue to prevent the mange from getting on him. In terms of the bump on the side of his stomach, a 9 month old should not have a bump that blood comes out of when squeezed. I would suggest getting this checked by your vet as soon as possible.
