Drinks water but not eating food. had bath butt was covered in fleas. Had a soft cough earlier this morning. When she goes to toilet to pee she shakes and wobbles when walking. not standing long at all but stronger than 36 hours ago. Just wants to sleep other than drinking water and going for a pee. This sounds quite serious for Beautifull. Pork bones can splinter and cause significant damage to the esophagus, stomach and intestines. In some cases, they can perforate the gastrointestinal tract or cause an obstruction/blockage. Unless a parasite burden is enormous, worms are highly unlikely to cause an obstruction. However, if she did have a huge flea infestation, she could have developed anemia (low red blood cell count) as a result of the fleas consuming her blood. Since this has been going on for another 36 hours, I am concerned that Beautifull may be severely dehydrated and/or anemic, which may be contributing to her severe lethargy. Beautifull needs to be seen by a vet immediately for an exam, red blood cell count (on a CBC or PCV), and abdominal x-rays to get to the source of her problem. In the future, make sure she receives a high quality flea preventative (Nexgard, Bravecto, Advantix) once per month.

Hello. I am sorry your dog isn't feeling well. What you are describing is very concerning and I would recommend bringing her to a veterinarian immediately. They will want to run bloodwork and perform radiographs (x-rays). They will likely want to have her in hospital. The cough is concerning for possible aspiration pneumonia and if she is vomiting/regurgitating after having bones she could have a bone stuck in her esophagus which can be fatal if not removed ASAP. Otherwise she may just have a bad pancreatitis or gastritis, but she could have an obstruction or a perforation or peritonitis. Wobbling and shaking and not wanting to stand is a sign of weakness and this again is very concerning. I would bring her to your emergency clinic if your regular veterinarian isn't open. I hope she feels better soon. In the future do not feed bones (raw or cooked) ever, as it can cause many issues and concerns such as the illness you are seeing now, as well as many others.
