What's the best behavioral training for my Maltese: classes or online?

Do you have any recommendations for behavioural training for a Maltese? Or at least a website with advice on how to train your pup? Anything that could be useful for me. Or should I sign her up for pup school although I wouldn't trust strangers my dog? Any advice is appreciated! Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 10 months old | 4 lbs

Puppy classes are very helpful for many reasons - they allow the pup to socialise with other dogs in a safe, controlled environment, they provide an opportunity for you to learn skills in how to train your dog and they also allow you to see how other dogs and owners learn similar skills and allow you to share knowledge in problem solving etc. There are many pnline, puppy training courses - be sure to choose one which focuses on positive, reward based training and not on dominance/fear based methods
