My dog has elevated liver enzymes. Can liver tonic strengthen it?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 3 months old

Is liver tonic is good in order to strengthen the liver ? I notice elevated liver enzymes ALT is my dog 76 which should be less than 50 so I am worried and vet suggest liver tonic so will it gonna make liver okay ?

Yes, a liver tonic such as zentonil can help support and allow the liver to repair. Mild elevation in liver enzymes are expected in young growing dogs but i would recommend monitoring in 2months or so to ensure they do not continue to increase
