Is a red, spreading mark on my French Bulldog's testicle a hot spot?

Hi there, I noticed a small red mark on my french bulldogs testicle which I thought was a scratch, anyway it didn't seem to be bothering him a few hours later after he had been sleeping I looked and it has spread round his full testicle I have cleaned it with vet scrub and applied sudocreme he can't reach to lick it any advice as to what it could be anyone ?

Hello! That is my favorite breed! Frenchies can get hotspots on their testicles, so that is a possibility. A hotspot is an infected rash. It is great that he is unable to reach it, as he would make it worse by licking. I would recommend having him checked out by your vet, to see if they might be able to prescribe some medications to treat the rash.
