The smell is related to the food, he is probably allergic to one or more component of this food. if the gas is the only issue though, and the food did solve the other allergy symptoms, i would still recommend keeping him to the food, but as long as he is on it there isn't much you can do about this symptom.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I would recommend switching to a different diet to see if this helps reduce the flatulence. Many times, excessive gas, diarrhea, vomiting or other GI symptoms can be traced back to the diet and bacterial content in the intestines. I would also consider adding in a probiotic such as Purina Fortiflora, which can be found online quite easily. Diets I recommend for most pets include Science Diet, Royal Canin, Natural Balance, and Purina One. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further!

Hahaha. Gas is the worse. It is possible she is getting into something in the yard or the house. Also her diet might be causing the gas. I would recommend trying a different food and switch it slowly over a week.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is likely due to a sensitivity to his food. You may start by switching his diet to something else by switching the protein and the carbohydrate to see if that makes it better. That alone is likely to improve this. Good luck and have a great day!
