Our ship tzu dog with primary glaucoma now has a red sore on the middle of her blind eye. What can we do to help? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 14 years and 9 months old | 20 lbs

Ouch, poor Halie! A red lesion on the eye affected by glaucoma could indicate that her eye pressures have increased to such a level that the eye has ruptured. Please take Halie to an ER vet immediately to assess her condition, as this can be extremely painful. Aside from putting an Elizabethan/cone collar on her to prevent further injury, there isn't anything else that you can do at home at this point.
