Picky eaters can be very frustrating! I'm glad to hear that Romeo is energetic, but he obviously needs to eat an appropriate diet to grow and thrive. First of all, avoid giving treats or table scraps from your plate instead of puppy food. Find a high quality puppy food and offer that as his sole diet. Initially, you can try mixing in either a small amount of canned puppy food that has been warmed up for a few seconds or use a very small amount of low sodium chicken broth on top of his food. Once he begins eating more regularly, you can wean off the canned food and/or broth very slowly. It may be tough love, but he will eat eventually if table scraps and treats aren't an option.
