My dog had a small mass removal last Tuesday and he manages to get the stitches out today. Appx 1-1 1/2 inch incision. Open appx 1/2 inch. I went to Petsmart and got liquid bandage. Would a vet restitch at this point. Not bleeding actively. Thanks

If the stitches have been in for less than a week, then yes a vet may want to restitch him. I wouldn't put a liquid bandage on it, I would have Brad evaluated by a vet to determine if it needs to be sutured again. You can take him into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see him now.

Oh no, Brad! Please do not apply a liquid bandage to any part of a surgical incision. Brad may need to have the incision sutured, stapled, glued, or left to heal on its own. The treatment plan would be based upon the location of incision and integrity of the skin. Taking him to a vet as soon as possible will be beneficial to healing and evaluate the incision for infection. Antibiotics will likely be dispensed to treat and/or prevent infection in the surgical site.
