Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 22 lbs
My cat hasn't [pooped] in a over week. he has only eaten one day out of that time, and he is hardly drinking any water. He is losing weight very quickly and his breathing is getting raspier. We did take him to the vet, and after blood work the doctor said she was pretty sure it was lymphoma. Are there any OTHER possibilities as to what it could be?

I'm sorry Murray isn't doing well!! Unfortunately with his symptoms cancer could be a likely diagnosis. Other causes could be a foreign body or intussecption (where the intestines telescope into themselves), but without seeing him in person I can't say for sure. Next step would be x-rays to try to visualize the intestines or an ultrasound. I recommend speaking to your vet about doing these tests.
