Upto what age bitch can give birth to puppies and if I adopt female dog does she have period heavily or how to cope up during that situation and till what age female periods continue ? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 3 months old

Bitches will continue to come into heat approximately every 6months until very advanced years - unless neutered when the cycles will then stop. Blood spotting is light and generally easy to clean up although some people aply diapers this is not entirely necessary
